This achievement shows the commitment we at Cordis Beijing have towards being a more sustainable and environmentally conscious hotel. Recognizing that the activities of our hotel have the potential for negative impacts on the environment we have made every effort to meet with EarthCheck’s stringent requirements. A dedicated team worked on providing data and information over a period of one year related to water and energy consumption as well as waste management which are benchmarked against EarthCheck’s standards to qualify for the certification. This approach puts focus and emphasis on implementing change to operate a more efficient hotel through constant improvement.
